Tom Bol Photo Workshops

Tom and Cree first met when they were guiding for NOLS, the National Outdoor Leadership School. They took students to some of the most remote places in the world: the Brooks Range in Alaska, the glacial lakes in Patagonia and remote desertscapes in Baja, California. Twenty-five years later, they are still exploring the world with other people, cameras and tripods in hand….always ready for an adventure. Why do they do it? Because they love teaching.
You will see this in action on Tom Bol Photoworkshops. Both Tom and Cree care deeply about the student experience and want you to have the best possible learning experience.

Tom has been leading photo workshops for 25 years. He writes articles for several magazines, including Digital Photography, Photoshop User and Lightroom Magazine. He regularly shoots assignments for Nikon and is connected to the working professional world as a:

  • Sandisk Extreme Team Member
  • Elinchrom Ambassador
  • KelbyOne Instructor
  • Manfrotto Ambassador

In the field he is known for his endless enthusiasm and creative techniques. In the classroom he teaches techniques for both Lightroom and PhotoShop. His attention to his students is what makes him a great teacher.
