Description: Learn to photograph the Northern Lights at the famous Chena Hot Springs Resort in Alaska. Join Tom and Cree on a winter adventure in Alaska where there is always a warm place to relax after photographing the colorful night sky. We spend 3 days at Chena Hot Springs and 2 days in Fairbanks photographing the aurora every night possible. We also visit an Ice Bar, photograph ice sculptures in a snow covered forest and try our hand at dog sledding.
Costa Rica Rainforest

Description: Adventure with Tom and Cree Bol to Costa Rica to photograph the colorful mammals, birds and plants of the rain forest. Expect to wake up each morning listening to scarlet macaws in the almond trees near your room, and howler monkeys ‘howling’ in the distance. The resort grounds include an estuary with breeding snowy egrets, green herons, green kingfishers and boat-billed herons. Other trails lead to the beach and through the forest where you will see toucans and perhaps a sloth hanging in the trees. Yellow-headed Caracaras and roadside hawks are common, and you can practice your panning technique as they fly past your room. More Details
Chilkat Eagles

Details: Every fall in Haines, Alaska bald eagles congregate along the Chilkat River. A fall salmon run attracts these magnificent birds, resulting in the largest gathering of bald eagles in the world. Their numbers are staggering. More than 3000 eagles arrive, and it is not uncommon to have hundreds of birds in trees across the river. This is a bucket list trip for wildlife photographers.
