Experience the colors of Peru with Tom, Cree and Marcelo. We will tour through one of South America’s most colorful regions: the Sacred Valley of Peru and visit the mystical city of Machu Picchu. Photograph Peruvian dancers and traditional weavers in the historic town of Cusco. Create images of hummingbirds and exotic butterflies at two different stops on the tour. We will work on all aspects of photography, landscape, portraits, wildlife and food photography while taking in the fascinating culture and sites of Peru.

Tour Start and Finish
The tour will begin at 10 am on Friday, May 14. We will be staying at the Hotel Sonesta Posada Yucay in Cusco, Peru. Cusco is at an altitude of over 11,000 ft. We recommend going one-two days early to help acclimatize to the altitude. The tour finishes after breakfast on May 22 with a private transfer to the Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport.

Know Before You Go: This workshop is rated Moderate and will have some walking required. The town of Cusco is located at over 11,000 ft and may be challenging for people who do not tolerate high altitude.
