Rocky Mountain National Park: Night Skies and Elk

Location: Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park, Colorado

Details: Join us for a short Colorado Getaway to photograph the night sky and the end of the elk rut in Rocky Mountain National Park. At this time of year, the air is crisp and the aspen leaves are golden. We have timed this trip around a new moon to take advantage of dark skies to photograph the milky way. In mid October, elk can be heard bugling throughout the park. We will photograph stars in the late evenings and during the day we will create landscape and wildlife photos. $999 Cost
